About Me
Behind Dayna Ashfort Studio
A creative space built around beautiful ideas, useful tools and a love for making everyday life feel a little more organized.
Hi, I’m Jenny, the creator behind Dayna Ashfort Studio.
What you see here today started much smaller than a shop, a template library or a growing collection of digital ideas. It began with my love for creating, organizing and finding ways to make everyday life feel a little clearer and more beautiful.
As a business graduate and a mom, I know how quickly life can become filled with responsibilities, ideas, plans and all the little things we are somehow supposed to remember at the same time. I have always been someone who feels better when thoughts have a place to go, when plans become visible and when something that once felt overwhelming suddenly becomes manageable.
But I have also never believed that organization has to feel cold, complicated or boring.
I wanted something different.
I wanted practical tools that I would genuinely enjoy opening, digital spaces that felt inspiring rather than overwhelming and resources that could bring together the two things I have always loved most about creating: beauty and purpose.
That idea became Dayna Ashfort Studio.
It started with one simple idea
I did not begin Dayna Ashfort Studio with a perfectly mapped out plan for everything it would eventually become. I started by creating, experimenting and learning, one idea at a time, and somewhere along the way I realized that the things I loved making could also become genuinely useful to somebody else.
A planner could turn an overwhelming week into something that suddenly felt possible. A simple printable could give someone a place to organize thoughts that had been floating around in her head all day. A study page could help a student see what needed to happen next, while a business template could bring a little structure to an idea that was only beginning to take shape.
Those small moments fascinated me because they showed me that good design is not simply about making something beautiful.
It is about creating something that makes a person think, “This is exactly what I needed.”
And that became the foundation for everything I create here.
Where creativity meets real life
Dayna Ashfort Studio has grown into more than I originally imagined, but I love that it still does not fit into one tiny category.
Some days I am designing a printable for a busy mom who needs to see her entire week in one place. On another day I might be thinking about a study system for a college student, creating a business planning resource, exploring a new Pinterest concept or writing an article for The Digital Edit about making our digital lives more intentional and organized.
They may look like completely different ideas from the outside, but to me they are all connected.
They are about taking something that feels scattered, complicated or uninspiring and turning it into something clearer, more useful and more beautiful.
That is also why Dayna Ashfort Studio now has several different spaces to explore.
The Free Template Library is where you can discover simple printable resources and try something new without having to buy anything. The Dayna Ashfort Studio Shop is home to affordable printable bundles for planning, family life, studying, business, organization, special occasions and the many little parts of everyday life that deserve their own place.
And then there is The Digital Edit, my creative corner for ideas, inspiration and practical guides around studying, digital planning, productivity, organization, business and a more beautiful digital everyday life.
Each part has its own purpose, but they all belong to the same world.
Beautiful is not enough
I obviously love beautiful things.
Soft neutral colors, warm blush tones, elegant typography, thoughtfully designed pages and digital spaces that make you want to sit down with your coffee and start creating will probably always find their way into Dayna Ashfort Studio.
But aesthetics alone are never enough for me.
Whenever I create something, I try to think beyond what the finished page will look like and imagine the person who will eventually use it. I think about what she is trying to accomplish, what currently feels unnecessarily difficult, what information she actually needs in front of her and what I could remove rather than add to make the experience easier.
Sometimes the answer becomes an entire planner. Sometimes it becomes five simple pages. Sometimes all that is needed is one beautifully designed sheet that finally gives a collection of thoughts somewhere to belong.
I believe the best tools are often the ones that quietly become part of our everyday lives because they work without demanding too much from us. They do not ask us to become perfectly organized people. They simply meet us where we are and help us take the next step.
A studio that keeps evolving
One of my favorite things about building Dayna Ashfort Studio is knowing that it does not have to remain exactly what it was yesterday.
Creativity changes when we do.
New ideas appear, new interests develop and sometimes something that began as a tiny experiment opens the door to an entirely new direction. That is how this studio has grown, and I want to keep allowing it to grow that way.
There will always be new templates to create, new everyday problems worth solving, new ideas to explore and new things to learn.
I want this to be a place you can return to when you need a little inspiration, when you are looking for a practical resource or simply when you want to spend a few minutes inside a digital world that feels creative, feminine and beautifully put together. You do not have to use everything you find here. Take the ideas that speak to you, choose the tools that genuinely make something easier and leave the rest.
Because creating a more organized life should never mean trying to turn yourself into somebody else. It should help you create more room for the person you already are.
And this is only the beginning.
Dayna Ashfort Studio is still growing, changing and finding new ways to bring creativity and practicality together, and perhaps that is exactly what makes this little digital space feel so personal to me.
Every new printable, every article and every collection begins with the same question:
Can I make this both beautiful and genuinely useful?
If the answer is yes, it probably belongs here.
And if something you discover at Dayna Ashfort Studio gives you a new idea, makes a busy day feel a little more manageable or simply inspires you to create something beautiful of your own, then this space is doing exactly what I hoped it would do.
Thank you for being here and for becoming a little part of the Dayna Ashfort Studio story.
Make it beautiful. Make it useful. Make it yours.
